By accessing or using Release View (“we”, “our”, “us”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Release View is an AI-powered tool that reads your Git commit history and generates human-readable release notes. The service requires connecting a GitHub account and selecting one or more repositories.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use the service to act on behalf of any third party without their consent. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
When you connect a GitHub account, you authorise Release View to read the repositories you explicitly select. We access only the data necessary to generate release notes and do not modify your code or repository settings.
You agree not to use the service to process data you do not have the right to access, to attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent any security measure, or to use automated means to scrape or abuse the service. We may rate-limit or suspend access if we detect abnormal usage patterns.
Release View and its underlying software remain the property of their respective owners. The release notes generated from your repositories belong to you. We claim no ownership over content derived from your code.
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that generated release notes will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI-generated content should always be reviewed before publishing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Release View shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or business interruption.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where possible.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
